Wash with hot water and a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge. Mr. Net’s magic eraser also gives excellent results. IMPORTANT! In all cases, finish by wiping the surface dry with a microfiber cloth to avoid a colorful finish.

WARNING: Never use acetone, abrasive products, or metal scrapers or brushes that could scratch or dull the surface.

FOR COMPLETE SURFACE RESTORATION

Step 1: If the scratch is very deep, start by sanding with #220 grit sandpaper. Otherwise, proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Sand with #320 grit sandpaper.

Step 3: Sand with a #360 grit no scratch sponge ("Scotch-Brite" or similar).

Step 4: Sand with a #800 grit no scratch sponge (grey "Scotch-Brite" or similar). Do not use red "Scotch-Brite" that will give a matte finish instead of satin.

FOR SUPERFICIAL TO MODERATE REPAIRS

For superficial repairs, step 4 above should be sufficient. If the damage is deeper, follow steps 3 and 4 in order. If that doesn't work, follow 2, 3 and 4 or proceed with a complete surface restoration.
