Wash with a mild bathroom soap and a soft cloth.

CAUTION: Never use abrasive products or metal scrapers or brushes that could scratch or dull the surface.

For persistent stains caused by water containing limestone and other iron residues, clean with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive product specially formulated to remove this type of stain, but without ammonia or bleach. The surface cleaner "Cerama Bryte" for glass-ceramic surfaces produces good results: let it sit on the surface for a few minutes and then gently rub with a soft cloth. Limestone stains can be removed well with a non-scratch bathroom scouring pad like "Vileda" or "Scotch Brite". Caution: Remove all traces of cleaner to avoid scratching the surface. Test in an inconspicuous area beforehand.

For superficial scratches, sand the area with fine-grit sandpaper #1000 to #2000 and water. Polish using a sander with a soft bonnet coated with an automotive body polishing cream.
