Our company
It comes from the merger of two companies: VANICO and MARONYX. VANICO manufactured kitchen and bathroom cabinets for the local market while MARONYX specialized in the design of sinks, countertops, bathtubs, and showers. The "VANICO" name is a combination of the words "vanity" and "company" while "MARONYX" comes from "marble" and "onyx", two materials used at the time in manufacturing our countertops.
VANICO and MARONYX have been around since 1980 and became a single entity in 2000 after the merger.
We have about 100 employees, all members of the worker-shareholder cooperative that owns 20% of the company.
Our plant is located in Terrebonne, on Montreal’s North Shore. We are proud to offer products designed and manufactured in Quebec!
